​Vietnam officially reinstates the application of Vietnam e-visas for citizens of 80 countries

What is Vietnam e-Visa?

Vietnam electronic visa (e-visa Vietnam) is issued by the Immigration Department of Vietnam starting from February 2017. This type of visa is issued online.
The e-visa is only valid for 30 days for foreigners to enter Vietnam once (01) for tourism purposes, not for commercial or business purposes.

Who can apply for an e-visa to Vietnam?

Currently, Vietnam applies e-visa or e-visa for citizens of 80 countries to Vietnam regardless of purposes such as tourism, commercial investment, visiting relatives, working, getting married,... and stay for no more than 30 days.

E-visa Requirements

If you are eligible for a Vietnam e visa, please make sure the following to get the e-visa:

• Passport valid for at least 6 months following arrival date and having at least 02 blank pages;
• 01 passport size photo (4cm x 6cm, White Backgound)
• Soft copies of passport personal data page and soft photo
• Credit cards to make payment online for e-visa fee, (American Express card is not accepted).
